A. Compass Placement Scores
COMPASS Placement Test Scores indicate LS requirements. COMPASS scores, along with any LS requirements, are listed on the Tranguid in Banner Web. Placement Testing and Learning Support requirements are listed in red. Students must take the COMPASS Placement test prior to participating in New Student Orientation (SOAR). Students who are dissatisfied with their scores may retest for a fee, and all retesting must be completed 10 days prior to the start of the semester in which the student is enrolled.
Students may not defer their LS classes. However, if a required Learning Support course is not available, a student may enroll in a course for degree credit if the student has met the course prerequisites, subject to the approval of the Director of Learning Support.
